Large-asset preservation and wrapping, at your site or ours, for storage and transit.
What this covers
Some assets cannot be sent to a packing facility: they are bolted down, too large for the door, or the next time they move is onto the truck that takes them away. We package machinery and large equipment in place, cleaning, preserving, wrapping and sealing the asset where it stands, and take it offsite where that is the easier option.
How it runs

Assess the asset
What it is made of, what condition the surfaces are in, how long it has to last and what it will be exposed to in that time.

Prepare the surfaces
Clean and, where needed, apply a rust-preventive oil or coating. Preservation over a contaminated surface protects the contamination.

Build the system
VCI film or barrier laminate over the asset, desiccant sized to the enclosed volume, and a seal that will survive handling.
- 04
Document what was done
Materials used, desiccant load and the date, so whoever opens it knows what they are looking at.
Onsite work is scheduled around your access and shutdown windows. Tell us the asset, the site and the date it has to be ready, and we will confirm what is achievable before anyone travels.
