Custom cut-to-size & heat-sealed packaging
Bags, rolls, sheets and liners cut and sealed to your exact component dimensions.
What this covers
Standard sizes are a compromise twice over: too big and you pay for material you throw away, too small and the part sits proud of the seal. We cut film, paper, laminate and liner stock to the component and heat-seal it, so the package fits what is actually going in it. Most of the work is repeat. Once a size is set for a part number, it stays set.
How it runs
- 01
Send the dimensions
Part sizes, quantities and how the item is handled. A drawing helps but is not required; a photo with a tape measure in it has been enough more than once.
- 02
We specify the material
Which film, paper or laminate suits the metal, the storage period and the conditions, and whether the package needs a desiccant inside it.
- 03
Sample and confirm
A sample in the actual size, so you can check it against the part before committing to a run.
- 04
Supply to the set size
Repeat orders run to the confirmed specification, so the packaging stops being a decision each time.
Cut-to-size work is quoted on the finished dimensions and the run length. Small runs are practical. We would rather set a size correctly for fifty parts than have you buy a standard roll that fits none of them.
What you get
- Bags, sheets, tubing and liners cut to your dimensions
- Heat-sealed closures where the package has to stay shut
- One specification per part number, held for repeat orders
- Less waste than trimming down a standard size
