Defence and government inventory spends most of its life in store, often in conditions nobody chose: humid depots, forward bases, sea freight and long dwell times between issue. We supply the packaging that keeps spares, components and equipment serviceable through that whole chain, specified around the item and the storage period rather than bought by the roll.
The corrosion problem
A part that fails inspection on issue is as unavailable as one that was never delivered, and the cost is rarely the part itself. It is the delay while a replacement is found and the work that waited on it. Preservation has to survive handling, storage and re-issue without being opened and re-done at each step.
