Mining Equipment

Spares and parts for remote sites.

How we support mining equipment

Mining runs on spares held a long way from the nearest store. Wear parts, drive components, hydraulic rams and control gear wait in containers and yards at the site, and a part that comes out of storage pitted stops a machine that costs more per hour to idle than the part is worth. We supply the wrapping, barrier packaging and desiccants that keep those spares serviceable until they are fitted.

The corrosion problem

Remote storage stacks the odds against bare metal. Daily temperature swings drive condensation, airborne dust holds moisture against the surface, and inspection intervals are long enough that a problem is found late. Machined faces, bores and threads go first, and those are the surfaces that decide whether a part fits when it is needed.

Where we work in this sector

Ground engaging and wear parts
Cutting edges, teeth and bucket components held outdoors between change-outs.
Drivetrain and hydraulics
Motors, pumps, rams and gearboxes with machined and sealed surfaces.
Electrical and control gear
Panels, drives and instrumentation where damp reaches the enclosed space.
Structural and fabricated spares
Frames and sections that sit in the yard until a shutdown.
