How we support defence & navy / adf
Defence assets spend far more of their life in storage than in use, and the storage is rarely gentle: coastal depots, shipboard compartments, containers standing on a hardstand through a wet season. We supply the films, barrier laminates and desiccant systems that keep spares and assemblies serviceable through that time, and pack large items on site where moving them to a facility is not practical.
The corrosion problem
Chloride-laden air, daily condensation cycling and long dwell times work on ferrous and non-ferrous parts alike. The cost of a spare that comes out of storage pitted is rarely the part. It is the delay while a replacement is found. Preservation has to survive the whole chain, including handling and re-issue, without being opened and re-done at each step.

What we usually recommend
- VCI Papers, Foils & Laminates
Aluminium barrier laminates give the lowest moisture transmission of anything we supply, the starting point for long-term sealed storage.
- Desiccants & Moisture Control
Sized to the enclosed volume, they take residual humidity out of the package rather than relying on the barrier alone.
- Onsite & offsite machinery packaging
For assets that cannot practically be moved to a packing facility.
