Marine & Offshore

Corrosion control in salt air.

How we support marine & offshore

Coastal and offshore operations run the hardest corrosion environment in the country. Unprotected steel starts to degrade in days rather than seasons, and equipment that sits waiting on a supply vessel or a laydown yard is exposed the entire time. We supply barrier and inhibitor systems built for that exposure, for stored spares, shipped assemblies and equipment in lay-up.

The corrosion problem

Salt does not just add another corrosion mechanism, it accelerates the ones already running. Airborne chloride settles on every surface, holds moisture against the metal and keeps working long after the equipment is under cover. Anything relying on a dry environment for protection is relying on something the site cannot provide.

Where we work in this sector

Vessels and marine equipment
Deck gear, tanks and shipboard spares.
Offshore and subsea spares
Held onshore against a campaign or a shutdown, often for months.
Port and coastal infrastructure
Fabricated sections and mechanical plant stored in the open near the water.
