Oil, Gas & Mining
Spares and equipment for remote and shutdown sites.
How we support oil, gas & mining
Remote operations hold more inventory than urban ones, because a part that is not on site is weeks away. That inventory sits in donga stores, sea containers and open laydown areas, sometimes for years, and it has to work the day it is called for. We supply the barrier, inhibitor and desiccant systems that make that a reasonable expectation.
The corrosion problem
Remote-site storage combines every difficult factor: temperature swings that drive condensation daily, dust that holds moisture against metal, and inspection intervals long enough that a problem is found late. Shutdown and lay-up work adds a deadline: equipment preserved badly before a stand-down becomes the critical path when it restarts.
Where we work in this sector
- Mining equipment and spares
- Componentry and rotables held against breakdown and planned maintenance.
- Oil and gas assets
- Valves, fittings and rotating equipment stored between campaigns.
- Remote-site stores
- Long-hold inventory in containers and site sheds.
- Shutdown and lay-up
- Plant preserved for a defined stand-down and expected to restart cleanly.
What we usually recommend
- VCI Papers, Foils & Laminates
Sealed barrier bagging for anything that has to survive years rather than months.
- Desiccants & Moisture Control
The other half of a sealed system: the barrier keeps moisture out, the desiccant deals with what was already inside.
- Onsite & offsite machinery packaging
Packing done at the site, because the equipment is not going anywhere else first.
